I’m also available for compering and hosting live events, and can be found at most of the major food festivals. I chaired Tomorrow’s menu – the future of food’ for the Guardian. I’ve compered the Chef’s Theatre at The Ideal Home show and the Ideal Home Show Christmas, working with the likes of Gizi Erskine, The Fabulous Baker BrothersPhil Vickery and chef Martin Blunos. I also compared the Chef’s theatre at The Cake & Bake Show, working with many former Bake Off contestants.

I hosted a demonstration with former school cook Sarah Husband at Port Eliot Festival. I gave a talk on my book at the Lichfield literary festival, as well as a talk entitled ‘The Secret History of the Ploughman’s’ at Ludlow Food Festival.

I would appreciate it if you would pass on our thanks to Andrew and let him know how much we enjoyed meeting him. The feedback we’ve had from his event has been tremendous; he is a knowledgeable and entertaining speaker and left a very happy crowd behind – if he ever feels like a return trip to Lichfield he will always be welcome.

I cannot thank you enough for your help. You were amazing and I could never have done it with out you.
Sarah Husband
It was SO lovely having you here. You were fabulous with Sarah and totally made her relax and her performance flow beautifully – ending in rather scrummy food! Thank you so much. Claudia had been spot on about your natural, calm manner, your enthusiasm for people and food, and your ability to ad lib and step in at any point to make things work

Andrew was fantastic, both informative and engaging, and I will definitely be thinking of reasons to invite him back in the future.
